• Improve both nutrient and water uptake,
• Improve the gas exchange and the photosynthetic activity and overall microbial community,
• Reduce and buffer the effects of too much less beneficial substances in the soil such as sodium (Na), Chlorides (Cl) and bicarbonates (HCO3).
