Why use this product?
Crystalline iron sulphate is an effective supplement when there is a need for readily available iron on greens, tees, fairways and lawns. The product has high solubility even at lower temperatures and strengthens the grass against stress and attacks.
It contributes to a deep green colour, stimulates root development and benefits growth during new establishment. Furthermore, it temporarily lowers the pH value, creating an acidic environment where moss and fungal spores find it harder to thrive. Crystalline iron sulphate is best used in the spring for a quick start to growth or in the autumn to provide stronger winter hardiness for the next season.
