Microbial agent against surface algae
Blackout is a unique blend of microbes and enzymes that target surface algae. They effectively compete for the algae's nutrient sources and help break down the surface organic matter that arises from algal blooms. For best effect, Blackout should be applied in conjunction with aeration and after treatment with a high-quality soil penetrant, such as Pervade. Managing excess moisture is one of the most important maintenance measures to prevent surface algae.

Application
- Dosage 50–75 L/ha, for 2–4 weeks
- Apply with equipment that provides even coverage of the surface
- Water in 6–12 hours after spraying
- Mixable with most water-soluble products, but should not be mixed with pesticides or nutrient products with high copper content.
